A courtyard with parking welcomes you on arrival, in the shade of the olive trees. Everything else is hospitality: we greet you with our “home sweet home” formula, to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be. We made Casa Aroma to be a refuge where couples, families, grandparents with grandchildren and four-legged friends can find calm and quiet again.

All of it comes from a wish of our own: slower rhythms that restore body and mind and bring back — even with a short holiday — the joy of small, simple things. As simple as the names of the four apartments — Basilico, Limone, Lavanda and Ulivo, the scents and colours of this land — and as their slate plaques, hand-painted by Enrica: the painted tiles and stones you come across around the house are her work, as are the oil paintings, the watercolours and the etchings and aquatints.

We live here too, a few steps away, so if you need a beach umbrella, a sun lounger, a bicycle or advice on where to eat, just ask. And bring along whoever waits for you on the doorstep every evening: pets are welcome here. Trust our experience and you will end up saying: what a beautiful holiday.

02 — Apartments

Four independent, eco-friendly apartments

Four units, two layouts. One-bedroom apartments with a private entrance and fittings chosen to use less: a heat pump for both heating and cooling, an induction hob.

Everything you need, without having to ask. Every apartment has a private entrance, a living room with kitchenette, a hallway, a windowed bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed and extra beds.

04 — Four-legged friends

Dogs, cats and company

Noce, who keeps watch, and Sila, the mascot who greets everyone like an old friend, live with us a few steps from Casa Aroma. They are not always in the courtyard, but when they are, they are the first to welcome whoever arrives — and they know the way to the sea better than anyone.

Dogs and cats are welcome: the first-floor terraces are closed off by a small gate, the courtyard is there to be sniffed, and the sea is a five-minute walk for them too. Just tell us who is coming with you when you write.

05 — The area

Perfect holidays, in an ideal position

For those who love the sea: a lit pedestrian path, then the Tyrrhenian cycle route, then across the Aurelia — and in under five minutes you are on one of the finest beaches of our western coast. Equipped beaches and free beaches, with lifeguard service.

In the evening you have more than 3 km of seafront promenade: towards the quiet, picturesque village of Cervo, or towards livelier Diano Marina.

We are in the area of the Santuario della Madonna della Rovere, surrounded by green and a couple of minutes from everyday essentials: supermarkets and a pharmacy.

And to know what is on in the village during your stay — food festivals, markets, the summer concerts of the Rovere d’Oro on the sanctuary square — the up-to-date calendar is on the tourist office’s Facebook page: IAT San Bartolomeo al Mare (opens in a new tab).
